Revolut Transferred European Users to Lithuanian Accounts; One of the largest payment companies in the world, Revolut, has transferred clients from Central and Eastern Europe to its jurisdiction in Lithuania, Delfi reports .
Thus, the system users also change their account number (IBAN): from British (GB) to Lithuanian (LT). By November 11, the company’s customers must notify their partners of these changes. When making payments after this period, the funds will be returned to the sender.
Revolut customers can find out their new IBAN in their personal account by clicking on
the user profile icon, then selecting Settings, Account details and a specific account.
As a reminder, Revolut Payments UAB received a license from the Central Bank of Lithuania as a company working with electronic money. At the end of 2019, Revolut was the largest neobank in Europe, serving more than 6 million corporate and private clients.
