As part of an experiment, the Swiss bank UBS will transfer its traders to augmented reality mode.

Bank Traders Will Be Placed in Augmented Reality; Many UBS employees are still working from home due to the coronavirus pandemic. To create more familiar conditions for them, a large credit institution decided to use modern technologies, according to banki.ru .

Namely, they will be placed in augmented with the help of virtual reality helmets HoloLense from Microsoft. The bank has already purchased these devices and distributed them to the staff. Beatrice Martin, chief operating officer of UBS, said the bank intends to experiment with various tools until employees can return to their offices.

In addition, the possibility of installing additional monitors at traders’ homes and displaying images from cameras located at their colleagues is being considered. According to the bank’s management, this option will improve teamwork by simplifying the interaction between employees separated by a distance.
